The Herald reported on Sept. 17, 1902 -“A.G. Sayer and family have removed to the home of J.H. Milling, where they have a suite of rooms.”
The McElwee Store ledger of 1915 states that J.H. Milling and wife Minnie (wholesale grocer at 106 South Railroad Ave.,). The Rock Hill Record reported on June 23, 1910 “J.H. Milling spent time in Clinton SC to oversee the business of the Milling Co. there. The manager is E.G. Fuller, who formerly worked with Milling in the Rock Hill store.)
