The Rock Hill Herald contained an ad on April 27, 1916 for the Globe Tailors, C.A. Reese Manager – “Located on Main Street in the former store of Beach – Ihrie Company.”
The Herald reported on Sept. 10, 1918 – “The Globe Tailors have moved from Main Street to 113 Railroad Ave., in the new Ratterree Block. C.A. Reese is Manager.” S. Myerson, who has been in business in Sumter, has leased the store on Main Street formerly occupied by the Globe Tailors and is planning to open a mercantile store.
The Rock Hill Herald contained an ad for Globe Tailer on Jan. 1, 1916 – “It is described as the only trailering shop on Main Street. C.A. Reese is Manager and the shop represents the Globe Trailering Company of Cinn., Ohio.”
The Herald reported on Sept. 28, 1918 – “The Ladies Shop, a new shop, handling lady’s ready and wear has opened on Main Street in the store formerly occupied by the Globe Tailors, S. Myerson manager.”
The Herald reported on Feb. 13, 1925 -“That Bob Hood, who has been connected with the Friedheim Store for several years, has purchased the Globe Tailors establishment from C.A. Reese, Sr.”
