City Directories and History: 1936 – Manor Leitzsey Boarding House (#166 St. Johns Court),
The Herald reported on Feb. 12, 1926 – “That lots are being advertised for sale on St. John’s Court (the church having been completed the previous year).
The Rock Hill Herald reported on Nov. 28, 1968 that wreckers yesterday demolished two large frame house on St. Johns Court as they began clearing the site for the New C&S Bank building. These homes were #126 and #130 St. John’s Court. The RH City Directory recorded in 1938: Mrs. Minnie W. Gill at #126 and W. Leonard Isom at #130.
