City Directories and History: Document notes: Receipt for account of goods purchased by N. B. Hutchison for the year 1835 bought of A. S. Hutchison. Total for the year was $92.63. Goods are mostly clothing and personal items.
A.S. (Andrew Stewart) Hutchison – (1794-1843), is the son of David Hutchison and is working as a merchant in conjunction with a Latta family member of Yorkville.
*** Note – link this page to a account showing A.S. Hutchison unable to pay his debts to John Fewell of Ebenezer, dated 1844. Following A.S.’s death the Hutchison family, presumably David Hutchison, paid much of his account balance which the Fewell’s considered un-collectable.
