Cheap Tin Ware: Old Tinware – March 9, 1860 offered by J.M. Adams
City Directories and History: The Yorkville Enquirer reported on Jan. 8, 1880 – “The Yorkville Tin Factory, with Mr. J.M. Adams, Prop., commenced business a few years ago and has built up a successful company. He now has new quarters and a full assortment of hollow ware, stoves, tinware and other goods.”
The Rock Hill Herald reported on Oct. 30, 1884 – “Mr. J.M. Adams doing business in Yorkville as a tin man, and dealer in house furnishings, has made assignment to G.W.S. Hart, Esq., in favor of his creditors.”
The YK Enquirer reported on Nov. 5, 1885 – “Mr. George T. Schorb has bought the tinware and stove establishment of Mr. James M. Adams and will continue the business in all of its department.”
