City Directories and History: 1959 – Banks H. Good, Alexa, John Good, (Good Motor Co., Guardian Fidelity Mortgage),
The Good’s home encompassed two lots, one for the home and one for their horse stables. The second lot was later sold to Ed (J. Edward), and Virginia Kellett to construct their new home. The Kellett’s had sold their original Myrtle Drive home to the Herlong family and built next door on the Banks Good lot.
Interestingly, the columns on the front of the Good’s home are reportedly salvaged from the old Elk’s Club home on East Main Street and used in the construction of their residence on Myrtle Drive. See Thread link this page!
