This house was built in the 1930s by Miss Sadie Ratchford. Miss Ratchford was related to the Good family who ran Good’s Drug Store (possibly an aunt of Mr. Good or Mrs. Good). She may have had an ownership position in the drug store. After Miss Ratchford, the house was made into a duplex and later housed the Girls’ Attention Home.
