City Directories and History: 1936 – NA, 1963 – Wm. W. Fennell, M.D.
This home was also listed in some directories as #202 College Avenue. It was the home of Dr. and Mrs. “Buck” Fennell, the son of prominent Rock Hill physician, Dr. Fennell, who had once lived around the corner on Oakland Ave., and later built his new home and hospital on North Confederate. His son, “Buck” who lived here was also a Rock Hill M.D. and served as a public health official.
Dr. Fennell and his son, Wallace, were known as avid hunters and elaborate story tellers who loved the out of doors.
