The Yorkville Enquirer reported on May 8, 1889 – “The new home being built by former sheriff R.H. Glenn on his farm, two miles west of Yorkville, is nearing completion.”
City Directories and History: Western York County author and historian J.L. West has provided Roots and Recall with numerous articles of interest and scholarly research. The Rock Hill Herald on July 15, 1886 reported – “The partnership between J.G. Anderson and Iredell Jones has been dissolved. They were dealers in machinery. Mr. Jones will close out the business, while Mr. Anderson will engage in the machinery business on his own. He also expects to open a shop for the repair of machinery and blacksmith work.”
