The Herald reported on April 30, 1942 – “The Dunlap Hospital has been organized by Dr. J.O. Dunlap in the Dunlap Building on Caldwell Street. It has twelve beds and modern x-ray and other equipment. Dr. Dunlap will continue to serve on the staff of the two other hospitals here.”
On June 6, 2018 Betty Jo Rhea stated her father, Dr. James O. Dunlap was the physician for the RHPF Company for many years. He did the pre-employment physicals and cared for workers who suffered accidents or illnesses on the job.
