City Directories and History: This was the home of Mr. Jim Hicklin and his daughters Roberta and Flora who were local teacher. This finely constructed 1910’s home featured a slate roof and large open rooms with broad porches. In 2012, the L and C Corporation owns the dwelling and it appears the house is doomed to be demolished.
Indeed the house was demolished in April of 2018.
