City Directories and History: The Banks Gladden home was one of Richburg’s fine dwellings on Lancaster Street. It was constructed in circa 1912 by Mrs. Addie McMurray who operated a boarding house here until 1928. Banks Gladden’s family lived here until the house burned in November of 1950.
