1605 Main Street
City Directories and History: Constructed in 1855 this small Gothic Revival Church was a lovely addition to Main Street’s landscape. The church was designed by G.W. Walker of Columbia, S.C. Following the destruction of the church by the tornado in 1984, the building was rebuilt identically to the original, Edgar Baker and Sons were the contractors.
