City Directories and History: Mr. Martin Koon is credited with the construction of this original house between 1780-1810. The property was sold in 1839 to John Bedenbaugh, who again sold it to William Boozer in 1851 who is credited with adding the wing and porch to the home. The survey card states the old home faced the Old Bush River Road bed and that most of the outbuildings were constructed either by Bedenbaugh or Boozer.
