“A number of similar houses once stood along the road to New Hope….”
City Directories and History: Found in the lovely New Hope area of Western Fairfield County, this is one of many Greek Revival cottages having been constructed throughout this community. Unfortunately, few remain in 2013, only small reminders of their beautiful proportions and images from archival collections. The date of this home is unknown but appears to have been built shortly after the Civil War.
