City Directories and History: This historic home is located near Bell’s Bridge in western Fairfield County. It is one of the oldest homes in the region featuring beautifully hand-planed board walls. The house has been in the same family for generations passing down from; James T. Lemmon, Mrs. Lambert Henry to Mrs. Myrtle H. Wilkes.

Excited to find these photos of the home of my 4th great-grandfather/grandmother! Thank you, all that were a part of making these photos available. Branches (i.e. Elizabeth *”Betsy” McKeill) of the Bell family migrated to Oktibbeha County, Mississippi. Betsy McKell was my 3rd great-grandmother.
