City Directories and History: This lovely turn of the 19th century home, for years associated with the Douglass family, has graced Evans Street for well over one hundred years.
The current 2017, owner believes the house was constructed in ca. 1875. Most of the original architectural features from the period remain intact, including; the paneled doors, Victorian fireplaces, bedded ceilings, reverse staircase, and moldings.
