City Directories and History:
The Bamberg Herald reported on July 12, 1906 – “The building committee of the Bamberg Banking committee let the contract for the new building last Thursday. It was awarded to a colored contractor from Orangeburg. It will be a handsome two story building with offices on the second floor.” The Bamberg Banking Company has offered for sale the brick building now occupied by the company, see Mr. H.J. Brabham, Pres. for information.”
