(1850s)—One story Greek revival frame house with portico supported by four freestanding square paneled columns. Windows are 9/9 double sash. Front entrance has cornice double paneled doors with side lights. Recessed porch located at rear of structure. Interior has wide entrance hall dividing four square rooms and extending into back wing. Mantels and window trim show carved details. Small original dependency in side yard. (SC Dept. of Archives)
