City Directories and History: This home has been recently altered with the addition of vinyl siding and replacement windows – 2014. This was the long-term home of the Cheek family, built by Austin Cheek and his wife, Nancy Garrett Cheek. It latder became the home of the Patterson family, missionaries to Africa; Dr. I.N. and Sara Lou Bobo Patterson.
