City Directories and History: “The one-story Meeting House style church was built ca. 1856-57, after having been originally established in 1812.. There are entrances on the south, east and west sides. Resting on brick piers and covered with a sheet tin roof, the building has had asbestos siding placed on top of the original clapboards. The windows are six over six (6/6) lights.” Originally part of Coosawhatchie Baptist Church.
