Lebanon Church Road
City Directories and History: “Lebanon Methodist Church was built in the Greek Revival Meeting House style. The 1834 building has a three-bay-wide facade in the “ABA” pattern. The two front doors are separated by a Palladian window with pilasters and a dentil cornice. The gable-roofed church is five bays deep with nine over nine (9/9) light windows.
Located in a scenic rural area, the church is an excellent example of a Greek Revival style meeting house.”

Please enjoy this structure and all those listed in Roots and Recall. But remember each is private property. So view them from a distance or from a public area such as the sidewalk or public road.
Do you have information to share and preserve? Family, school, church, or other older photos and stories are welcome. Send them digitally through the “Share Your Story” link, so they too might be posted on Roots and Recall.
