The ability to search by using the zoomable map is nice, but there is a problem that, after about only three searches, makes me want to quit and give up on it. Once you zoom in on a specific street, you can click on a red pin to open the entry on some particular structure. So far, so good. But, there is no way to back up and look at a neighboring building. Instead, if you use your browsers back-button, you end up all the way back at the zoomed way out level and have to tediously rezoom to get back to the same block or street.

Good Morning! We are aware of the problem but have been unsuccessful in fixing it. The Historic Charleston Foundation has asked that besides street searches, we also add maps for historic districts. We will work on these updates. I am working on adding your submissions as time permits and hope you will continue keeping R&R updates with interesting data and images.
