City Directories and History: Typical of the local log houses in the midlands, this early 19th century cabin was constructed with noteworthy hewing of its joints and its fine sandstone chimney. It was a gift from the Catawba Timber Company and contains exhibits on early Camden history. The builders of the home are unknown, but the dwelling was on an early grant to John Bradley in 1775, thus it is deemed to most likely be the Bradley cabin.
