City Directories and History: Alfred Fripp built this house in 1909. This L-shaped, cross gable one-story frame house has a facade-width shed roof front porch with columns and balustrade. The gable roof has an open return cornice and the windows are two over two (2/2) lights. In 1915, Mr. Fripp built a general merchandise store facing Bridge Street. The store was demolished in 1980 after being damaged by an automobile.
