Built in 1929, at a a cost of $25,000, this 19-room, 5,000 square foot Georgia Style mansion, was designed by architect, Charles William Fant, Sr. for Eugene Norton Sutton, owner of Pendleton Manufacturing Company, later LaFrance Industries.
The home with formal gardens took sixteen months to build and included mill work and four full baths.
