This simple I-House with a one-story, full-facade shed porch was built in the 1890s by the Leech family. The house passed through both Byers and Youngblood ownership before being purchased by J. M. Plexico in 1905. George and Lula Plexico purchased the home in 1909.
Originally on Owl Street, (now Shannon Street in Sharon) the home has passed through several additional families since the Plexicos.
The home has an attached rear kitchen. Decorative elements featured include cornice returns, leaded glass in the main entrance door and sidelights. [Historical Properties of York County, SC – 1995]
