City Directories and History: The following articles and information relates to Woodberry Farms, an undertaking by Rock Hillian, Mr. James S. White. Note that this was not associated with the White Home location in downtown but a separate venture. R&R appreciates the excellent research provided by Stephen Turner in bringing this data to our attention. N.B. Williams and Hall Spencer were two of the main buyers along with Mr. Henry Massey, W.H. Spencer, W.J. Cornwell, J.T. Faris, R.H. Cornwell, and E. Thomasson. In all 14 tracts of land were sold.
Food was provided during the sale by the women of Catawba Baptist Church.
