City Directories and History: The Charleston News and Courier reported on June 7, 1890 – “Iredell Jones is a retail dealer in machinery and agricultural implements. He has a commodious store room facing the CCC railroad, and has a large business which is growing daily.”
The Rock Hill Herald reported on Feb. 22, 1893 – “The Rock Hill City Council has decided to straighten the street leading from White Street to the home of Capt. Iredell Jones.”
