City Directories and History: There are extensive records on the construction of the Annex at the White Home. Most of the lumber was shipped to Rock Hill by rail. However, local painters and contractors were used to finish the building. Look throughout the Ann H. White papers on R&R for: painters, plasterers, carpenters, lightening rods, and a number of skilled artisans will be easily located with just a minimum of efforts.
