The Herald on Aug. 8, 1900 reported that J.S.H. Farris, W.A. Milling and W.A. Youngblood have bought the stock of goods of Mr. R.H. Cowan. They will occupy the same store and the firm’s name will be J.S.H. Farris and Company.”
Mr. J.S.H. Farris was living at this address in 1907. See his connection with the Sowell Brick Company.
This house was demolished in circa 2010 but was originally known as the Workman – Seagal house constructed about 1915.
