“East of the Carlisle house was a four-room house, built close to the ground. This was the home of R. P. Dozier. It was built between 1900 and 1910. In 1912 he sold the property to Miss Mattie R. White, principal of the Aragon-~~Manchester School, who had just taken her nephew Boyce White to rear. His parents had died in 1911 and 1912. The house was raised on pillars and a kitchen, dining room, porch and bathroom were added.” [Robbins – White History Tour]
