Is there any way I could get/purchase a copy of the picture of Gettys Grocery? My grandparents lived beside this store and I grew up going there to get penny cookies and sit and talk with Spencer Gettys. He was a great friend to u. My grandparents were Tom and Ferne (Scoggins) Jones. It brings back such wonderful memories just looking at the picture!

Hi Patricia,
This image is not one I can share, it belongs to the S.C. Dept. of Archives and History and they have simply given R&R authority to exhibit it only! However, if you remain interested, there is a possibility you could purchase a copy through them. Let me know if you are interested in doing so and I will be happy to furnish you the contact. R&R would be excited to have images of your family home and members on Hampton Street to post. Let us know how you wish to move forward.
Regards,
R&R
