This dwelling has a rich Sharon history. The home was constructed by Dr. Saye and completed in Dec. 1892. One starting with Dr. Joseph Saye, who reportedly constructed it as his first home when he moved into Sharon after his marriage in Jan. 1893. Previously, he had been living at the Hord Road home of Rev. R.A. Ross. Later it was used as the Sharon Baptist Church’s manse and then sold as a private residence.
