The Herald reported on July 30, 1914 – “that L.F. Waldrop has closed a contract to install a hot water heating plant at the residence of A. H. Bynum of College Avenue. This is the new home which Mr. Bynum had erected several months ago.”
***R&R Note: Ms. Cherry Bynum, the last surviving grandchild of J. Milton Cherry died in Nov. 2022, at the age of 106. She had lived in this home as a child and to the family was the Cherry and Bynum family historian.
The house in the late 20th century was acquired by Mac and Susan Lyle who have lovingly improved and cared for the house.
