The Yorkville Enquirer reported on Jan. 6, 1892 – “Mr. J.B. Coleman, District Manager for the Singer Company has closed his business and accepted a similar one in Richmond Kentucky.” (It is unclear as to the location of the Singer Co., in 1892.)
