The Yorkville Enquirer reported on Jan. 6, 1892 – “Reported on the wedding of Anna Belle May to J.E. Parker. They will board with Mrs. F.H. London.”
The Yorkville Enquirer reported on Feb. 3, 1892 – “J.J. Hull and W.A. Fewell will move into their new homes at Oakland next week. Mr. J. E. Parker will move into the house vacated by the Hulls.”
The Record reported on Nov. 21, 1907 – “Fine progress is being made on the new house house being built for Mr. J.E. Parker on Johnston Street.”
The Record on Dec. 30, 1907 reported – “Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Parker have moved into their new home on Johnston Street. Mr. Morris Cobb and his mother, will occupy the Parker’s former home.”
“The James E. Parker family lived next door to the Londons on the east. Mrs. Parker was Annie Belle (May) Parker. Mr. Parker was connected with the firm of A. Friedheim & Brothers.” [Robbins – White Tour Booklet]
The McElwee Store ledger of 1915 states that James E. Parker (salesman at A. Friedheim Brother’s Store), and wife Annie B. held an account at their downtown Rock Hill store.
