City Directories and History: 1933 – James H. Huey (Sarah L. Poag – Huey)
This house was built circa 1924. It has a hipped front dormer with three four light windows. On the side there are gable projections. The front porch expands the full front of the house. There is one interior chimney and one exterior chimney. The house is covered in wood shingle siding from the early Craftsman style of home so popular throughout Rock Hill’s history.
Mr. James H. Huey, a local druggist in downtown Rock Hill, S.C. died in Oct. 1934.
