The Herald reported on Feb. 21, 1924 – “A new home for the Ford agency was being built. Barron and Caldwell is being build under the direction of N.G. Walker, Architect.”
The Herald reported on June 11, 1931 – “The Baron – Caldwell Motor Company on White Street was robbed last evening. Thieves got $15.00 in cash, two auto tires and two tubes.”
This historic home was demolished to make room for municipal improvements to the area behind Main Street’s commercial district and for the new Rock Hill Fire Department complex.
