City Directories and History: 1954 – Union Seed and Feed Company, (Hames Wholesale Grocery)
BHR 1878-1911 is in the facade of the building. It is unclear as to what these initials stand for. The builders were T.C. Duncan, a highly motivated and successful businessman who built the Union and Glenn Springs Railroad. Mr. L.J. Hames was also heavily involved in this facility and operated his wholesale business here for decades.
