City Directories and History: 1954 – Duncan S. Felder, M.D.
This structure appears to be #21 (Hotel Union) on the accompanying 1917 Sanborn Insurance Maps of Union, SC. Note the hotel originally had a double front porch made of wood. The hotel operated here for decades until the 1910’s and closed just prior to the opening of the Fairforest Hotel. Extensive changes to the facade were made in the 1940’s.
