City Directories and History: Constructed circa 1878, this is known as the Joseph T. Todd home or Cunningham house.
“It is not known when the imposing Cunningham residence to the north of Clinton was built or who built it. A few years ago it underwent complete renovation and is now occupied by the J. M. Cunningham family. George Cunningham, father of J. M., lived in the house with his family, and prior to their occupancy Joe Todd owned the property.
During the restoration, wrought-iron railings were added to the front, and a wing to the left was screened.”
