City Directories and History: 1948 – Olivan Corene, 1975- David Blakley, Family tradition states that African American contractor, Mr. Columbus B. White (1857-1945), designed his own home, here at 400 Green Street. It was constructed by sons Jodie and Judson White in about 1908.
