City Directories and History: This simple two story dwelling once stood near the Chester-Fairfield County line and was demolished in circa 2000. The dwelling was originally built, circa 1870, as the manse to serve both the Beaver Creek Baptist Church and that of Cool Branch Baptist Church. The dwelling appears to have been altered, removing the front porch, and replacing it with a small stoop.
Please enjoy this structure and all those listed in Roots and Recall. But remember each is private property. So view them from a distance or from a public area such as the sidewalk or public road.
