The Yorkville Enquirer of Nov. 13, 1879 reported – “The people of Feasterville have organized a graded school and established a tax district of six miles square to support the school.”
The Fairfield News and Herald reported on Jan. 16, 1884 – “The store of J.B. Crosby and Co., at Herbert was recently robbed.”
