City Directories and History: Shiloh Methodist Church, 1902, is no longer used as an active place of worship, but it remains a strong part of the Jenkinsville community, where many older residents recall an active church congregation. The land on which the church was constructed and the cemetery started was donated by local civic leader Burrell Brown Cook and the church continued being active until the late 20th century. It is a lovely reminder of the many Carpenter Gothic church of the period build extensively across the region.
