City Directories and History: 1908 – James I. Hardin, Daisy Hardin, 1940 – J. Henry Yarbrough, 1958 – James E. Lee, 1978 – Richard A. Hall
This is one of the true gem on Center Street, it appears to have been constructed in the 1890’s in a fancy Queen Anne style with it’s ornate front porch. Mr. Hardin was a salesman for Joseph Wylie and Company. In the 20th century this charming home was that of local artist Mrs. Dicky Hall. Her daughter Pressley fondly recalls having lived here as a child until the family moved to Lewis Turnout.
