City Directories and History: This handsome dwelling is one of many late 19th century houses that were constructed in this transitional style across much of the York and Cherokee county areas. The McGill home viewed here is a combination of many architectural styles: Victorian, Queen Anne and Eastlake.
The house remains in remarkable condition and was decorated nicely with grained mantels and ceiling, heavily turned newel posts and elegantly appointed architectural components of a turn of the century farm house.
