Please enjoy this structure and all those listed in Roots and Recall. But remember each is private property. So view them from a distance or from a public area such as the sidewalk or public road.
Do you have information to share and preserve? Family, school, church, or other older photos and stories are welcome. Send them digitally through the “Share Your Story” link, so they too might be posted on Roots and Recall.
Thanks!

The picture captioned “Construction of a Gaffney Mill” is actually a picture of a mill on the Pacolet River which was destroyed in a flood in 1903. The one across from it on the Right Top of this page is the Irene Mill in Gaffney, SC. Just wanted to clarify since I came to this page with an interest in the Gaffney Manufacturing Company. Didn’t want other searchers to be confused. Thanks for the site! (These corrections have been updated in the appropriate captions by R&R – thanks for the input!)
