Traveling across S.C. and meeting interesting people, seeing great architecture and historic sites, is a wonderful means of expanding Roots and Recall’s base of forensic architectural and historic knowledge. Having been invited to tour the NR Moore-Kinard home at Epworth, S.C., we took the opportunity and had a productive visit with the gracious owners. The trip started off with visiting the John Ramsay grave-site, relationship unknown, as to how this burial site fits the historic profile of the Moore-Kinard property. Do you perhaps know who he was and why he is buried at Epworth?
Never the less, the trip encompassed visiting the Ramsay grave, exploring the beautiful Moore-Kinard home, currently owned by the Turner family and viewing some terrific agricultural structures. Enjoy a glimpse of our visit and images posted on R&R at: Epworth’s Historic Home
